We used this for a homeschool unit (1st grade). It's a good book for teaching kids the basics about worms. It does not go over parts of a worm. I like the vocabulary words in the back. There is no character or storyline and some might want that.
What a wonderful book for children to understand what its like to be a worm! Simple, compelling and just the right amount to detail.
The illustrations were charming. Hoped for more detailed anatomical drawings- but ok. Not quite enough, but what is here is nice.
Very simple but accurate wording. Wonderful pictures that show the worm life cycle. The children were engaged whether it was read to them or on their own.

This is a fun little book, but I was disappointed that I had paid as much as I did for only a few page book with not much words.
I'm a teacher and I got this so my kindergarten students can learn about worms.
